Recently in Craft World in the sim unAcademy, of which he was the owner, we remembered Giuseppe Granieri, one year after his passing. We did so by retracing the stages of his biography as a thinker, writer, philosopher of digital and presenting the project “A shelf for digital culture,” “inspired by” and “dedicated to” Giuseppe Granieri. The project was conceived and written together with Fabio Fornasari for the Polo Bibliotecario di Potenza, Granieri’s birthplace, and envisions, flanked by events in real, the creation of a digital bookshelf in the Polo’s FabLab, which will enhance Giuseppe Granieri’s important contribution to the formation of digital culture alongside that of so many other scholars, both historical and contemporary, of the web and its impact on our individual and collective lives. The project summarizes and projects into the future the path of unAcademy Italia – Unconventional Academy of Digital Culture, founded in 2007. It retraces its history and makes it the.strength of the continuation of educational and laboratory activities in Craft World and in the real world, thanks to my personal commitment, that of Fabio Fornasari, Luciana Mattei, Tonino Lane, the Craftian community and Giuseppe Granieri’s family members, and in collaboration with the Polo Bibliotecario di Potenza, Director Luigi Catalani.
This was the project as it was conceived and written by Lorenza Colicigno and Fabio Fornasari and shared with Luciana Mattei, Giuseppe’s family and Luigi Catalani, Director of the Potenza Library Pole.
The speeches were followed by music listening by Coldplay and Muse, Giuseppe Granieri’s most beloved musical groups. The playlist was curated by djArianna.
