Last night, Craft World hosted a special event that thrilled those of us who love great music: a tribute night dedicated to Queen and the charismatic Freddie Mercury, curated by DJ Niko Fakuzo. The event transformed the dance floor at ShoppingDance into a journey through the history of the legendary British band.
Queen, one of the most famous rock bands in history, have influenced entire generations with their ability to blend different genres -from progressive rock to glam, from hard rock to gospel. During the evening, the DJ put together an outstanding setlist, playing the band’s most iconic tracks: Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, Somebody to Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, and my personal favorite, The Show Must Go On, just to name a few.
The magic of Queen lies not only in their music but also in their theatricality and stage presence -elements that were recreated through an engaging and dynamic set. The lights, the presence of costumed groups and photographers, and the energy of the audience created an electrifying atmosphere, making us all feel part of something truly special.
Freddie Mercury, who passed away in 1991, left an indelible mark on music history, and nights like this prove that his spirit – and that of Queen – are still very much alive. With over 150-300 million records sold worldwide, the band continues to inspire new generations, and Craft’s event was proof that their music is timeless.
Once again, Craft confirms itself as a key venue for original and high-quality events. After the success of this tribute night, we can’t wait to see what surprises the future holds!
Did you attend the event? What was your favorite song of the night? Tell us in the comments!
