The Metaverse Museum presented the Blog City of Sarima Giha and Core Tatham in 2008 in Second Life, at a large exhibition called Arena, the exhibition was organized by Roxelo Babenco (Rosanna Galvani) and by arco Rosca (Paolo Valente).

While I met Sarima Ghia for the first time in October 2010 at the Szczepanski Gallery of Paolino Szcepanski (aka Paolo Brenzini), also in Second Life.

That small (but only in height of the avatar) Great Woman in her wonderful floral kimono, who had collected all her virtual experiences in this beautiful blog of hers, which then transformed into a Blog City (Video inauguration Craft World). Yes, you understood correctly, very tall cubes transformed into buildings, skyscrapers each with talking windows, storytelling buildings, poets, photographers, every character encountered, every person Sarima had spoken to, every place visited, every thought of hers, has become a tenant, everyone has their place.

But not only that, even comments from readers of many of her articles had a place, Sarima did not leave anyone out!!!
I am not a journalist or an art critic, but as a visitor I can only say that this idea is not only a creative stroke of genius, it is taking care of one’s own life (even if virtual life is considered by many to be of little importance), it is taking care of the memory of one’s time spent paying attention to people, it is taking care of every moment lived wherever we are and continue to be.

Let’s face it—just being in places and with people is easy, and everyone knows how to do it, but being inside things is a whole different story.
I’ve wanted to talk to you about this City for days, or rather months, and the fact that I’m here somewhere, pushed me to come back here, to want to “see” myself looking out of some window, and be grateful for having put myself there and finally I can say “I was there” I was there, I met her and she made me a little more precious than I am and I became a tenant too. I won’t get lost in time, I won’t disappear.
I’m part of her memory, in the memory of a distant time that still fascinates us and we remember it, and above all, I live in Sarima’s memory.

Being in the middle of the talking city is like putting a new window back in, I was there, and I am still there but changed over the years and now as never before, I need to be inside positive things, to realise that for someone I am counted too, being here today is like adding more ram to an already performing processor.
And I take a photo of myself sitting on the city, here I have added a piece again, without allowing myself to change anything, when I look at the photo I will still be able to say ‘I was there’ because memory only makes sense if it remains alive and still gives, traces and time.

I deeply thank Sarima Ghia and Core Tatham for returning to Craft, for hearing them speak and remember again, and Rosanna Galvani, who has the Talent to give value to everything he encounters in his life, and to share it with us.
And thanks again to you, Città Blog, for allowing me to be here again today.
Today that I really needed to not feel alone.
