I discovered virtual photography in 2007, and since then, I have never stopped understanding it, studying it, sharing it, and, above all, loving it.
“What is photography to you?” This is a question I am often asked.
For me, it is like painting—observing the environment before me, allowing myself to be moved, carefully choosing what I want to tell, selecting colors and atmospheres. It means looking closely in every corner, finding the protagonists, placing them at the center of the frame, giving them the place of honor, and building a story around them. This is how every photo is born—like a kiss or a smile, as a reaction to an emotion.
It is the ability to share passion with those who, like you, love every place they encounter. It is about experimenting with different styles and never settling, yet always returning to what ignites your passion the most. It is framing the universe and seeing it through different eyes each time, because the universe never gifts you the same sunrise or sunset twice. Photography captures the reality before your eyes while giving you the freedom to tell it in your own way with just a simple click. It is about sculpting moments on “paper,” protecting them from time, preserving traces and stories.
This is what I have always tried to do—to feel like a secondary character in every photo, yet at the same time, to speak of myself, my bad days, my mood swings, my perspective on the world, and all the worlds that surround me. Every photo is a piece of me. I study an environment, become part of it for a while without making a sound, and try to imagine how I would like to see it—without neglecting what it already is.
I am in every place, constantly gazing toward life, trying to tell its story by painting it.
